It Only Hurts When I Breathe

Well, we didn't have school today -thank god- so I'm working on my papers for the creative writing project and trying to catch up on reading Charles Dickens "Greate Expectations". So far its a pretty amusing book, just the dialogue bothers me at times. I'm starting to hate Pip's sister who 'brough him up by hand'. Whatever lady..she aggrivates me. Yea, I know she's just a character in a book...but gosh..Dickens sure did make an annoying one! Anyways, I'm not really able to work well on the creative writing project. I have to finish this one-page analysis and then chose a passage that is from a paragraph to a page, that represents the author's writing style. Along with creating a visual representation of the novel. Along with that I need to come up with a reason what I thought of the book to present to the class. I wish I had a robot right now to do all of this for me. I know, I sound lazy. Sometimes I just wish all this work would go away...far, far, far away. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that maybe two days ago my neighbors found a cute terrier mix puppy beneath their car. Poor thing. We think someone must've dropped it off, (whoever that was should be ashamed of themselves) although it was a good home to drop it off, because they took care of it. The puppy which they named 'Twix' had mange all over it. It's actually a cute lil thing if you ask me, but my mom won't allow us to have anymore animals. I think she said that they're taking it to some adoption lady in Wakeforest. Well, I have to go and work on my homework...which I should hurry up and finish because I still have to clean my room up -- that will take a while. Avoir!

Remember the Snowy Days

Well, once again its snowing in the Carolina's. Lately it seems like every day has been a snowy day, or maybe its all in my mind. Hopefully we won't have school tomorrow because I've really had enough of it. Although I would rather it be warm and summer, it's nice to have a snow day every now and then. Snow days remind me of when I was just a child and had no worries whatsoever. They were days of sweet innocence and bliss, that have somewhat been lost. Along with the imagination thing too. Today went pretty well, getting out of school three hours early. I'll be taking all honors classes next year except for math, which honestly I don't mind, math is somewhat boring to me. I rode at the show last weekend in South Carolina. Ahh, that was nice...warm weather, around horse people, got to show the Hapster too. He is such a good horse and I love him very much. I find it funny how non-horse people find showing horses boring. Which, I guess, could be if you don't really have a love for them. Yet, I was very pleased with everything and can't wait till the next show. Well, that's pretty much all I wanted to jot down in this thing.

There He Was

Well, there was the NCQHA Banquet this weekend, and I had a great time. Yet I wish there really were a rewind button. My ex was there (who I still am in pretty much head over heels in love with, but things are awkward right now). I seriously think I'll never get over him. Most of my friends know all about the story, but it seems like I'll never get a second chance..or in this case a third. I just don't know what to say right now...deep down I still love him, but who knows how things will turn out. I'll let ya know if I get another chance or not.

I still need a dress for the banquet..hopefully I'll find one. So I'm going shopping tomorrow and I'm gonna look for one! I still need to make an appointment to get my nails done and to go to the tanning bed. There's so much to do and I feel like I have zilch time to do any of that. Along, with having to read for english and study for this history test and all...I'll write later if I can.

School Tomorrow

Well, I have school tomm. unfortunately! We do have an hour delay which is better than not having any delay at all I guess. I'm trying to study for this history test I was supposed to have, and hopefully she'll be extremely nice and say we'll take it on Monday instead..but somehow I highly doubt that. It's only one day of school so it shouldn't be so bad...but I'm sore from exercising so much so walking up those three flights of stairs is not sounding good to me.

Cabin Fever

It's been three days now...and almost four since I have been stuck inside my house. It snowed/sleeted early Sunday morning and school was cancled for Monday thru Wednesday. I could be studying for my History test I was suppose to have on Monday but I don't feel like I have tomorrow to do that. I'm tired of cold weather. It is pure evil. The birds flutter around outside searching for food when there isn't any, while squirrels take what's left of the birdseed. Evil things squirrels are. They're pretty dumb too. Exercise has become boring to me...although it did keep me satisfied for the first two days of being stuck in this house. My dog Zoe fell and was lucky not to get hurt when she slipped while outside. I could barely walk myself. I officially hate winter. It's never been one of my favorite seasons..never. I like Spring and Fall the best. Summer is gets too hot sometimes. I feel like I am going crazy having to stay inside for most of the time...and I can't type today..which makes it more aggrivating because I have to keep correcting everything I type which takes forever! I may start to exercise by doing Pilates..that should keep me satisfied for a while..and sore. Those really work the abs! But I guess I'm just not used to having cabin fever.

The Beach

The golden-like sand stood out among the beach
Big, blue waves crashed along the rocks
Yet, the shoreline they did not reach
As little white ships swayed, each tied to a dock

The seagulls cries, were piercing and loud
While children built sandcastles all day long
The looks upon their faces, showed they were proud
As tourists go by, whistling or singing a song

Bright rays from the sun begin to fade
The beach then seems to be alone
The dark, night sky provides a temporary shade
The people of the beach have gone home

That's my poem I wrote for open mic for Creative Writing..if you copy n paste it and steal it and try to say its sure do have a pathetic life. I thought I'd just share what I wrote since I haven't written for a while.

Rant: Reality Television

I hate survivor the most of all reality tv shows...

Wow. It's been a while since I've written in this thing..but I was busy so get over it. Anyways, things are going's the Rant I wrote for Creative Writing(if you don't like it...oh well):

I’m sure you’ve seen some kind of reality television.
Well, it was okay when there was only one reality television show on….but now, there’s too many! I mean…we all are living in the real world already having to pay for stuff and other things like that, what’s the point of making it a television show?! Okay, Okay…I agree it was funny to see the mistakes someone else made at times, but shows like “My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé” or whatever the heck it is called, are just plain stupid! What’s the point……exactly! There isn’t one!
The “Simple Life”, is just plain sad. They didn’t even know what a Wal-Mart was. Reality television is becoming ridiculous because it’s just pointing out how stupid some people can be and most of us already know how stupid people can be!
Shows like “Survivor” have gotten completely out of hand. I mean…not many people are going to watch it when they’ve seen it before and it’s just different people trying to survive on some island.
Oh! Then there’s the completely pointless kind of reality television…like “Joe Millionaire”…the dude lied to these women so do you honestly think they’d stick around anyway?! I mean…it’s obvious why they went on that show in the first place….DUH! They thought he was a millionaire! They wanted his MONEY! The fact he was decent didn’t hurt either, but we all know the real reason they were there.
What new reality show will they come up with?
I don’t even want to know!

The Rubber Ducky Made Me Do It!

Well, the title of today's entry has nothing to do with what I will be talking about. I just found the picture of the puppy with the rubber ducky and thought that the title would be cute. Today was freezing out. I could barely feel my fingers..I had forgotten that I had any since they were frozen. I hope it doesn't snow anymore. Yes, it's pretty, but it makes everything else cold and not fun. Especially when you have to go outside and take care of horses. It's freezing. Almost unbareable if I didn't love horses so much. Also, my friend Brittany made it to the Dance nationals! Way to go Britt! Brittany is my best buddy from Middle School and is so awesome! Well, anyways, I'll write more tomorrow or whenever.

^Pretty cool pic eh? It's a butterfly made of snow!

It's beautiful, yet terribly cold out right now. Hmm..those two descriptions must mean...why yes! SNOW! It's been flurrying since early this morning around seven. I was hoping for an hour delay..or early release. Well We did get an early release from school..but only one hour early. So instead of getting out at 2:18 we got out at 1:18 this afternoon. My teachers wanted to get out just as bad as we did. It's really beautiful until it causes problems on the road. It's nice to see some snow though...
